If you have deleted a UniFi, UISP or Omada server that is hosted with HostiFi, you can now easily restore it and the original subscription price too using the new restore feature we have baked into app.hostifi.com.

Things to know

  • When a server is destroyed/deleted, it will remain available to be restored indefinitely.

  • When a server is restored, you won't be put on a new plan with new pricing, the price you last paid will be reinstated.

  • If you want us to permanently delete a backup we have of an old server for data retention purposes, please contact us and we'll delete any data we have.

  • We can only restore from the most recent backup we have.

How to restore the server

To get started, log into app.hostifi.com

Then, underneath your active servers, click on 'View destroyed servers' - If this option doesn't appear, then you don't have any servers available to be restored

Click on the server you wish to restore

Then, click on 'Restore Server'

Once the server is restored, it can take anywhere between 5 and 10mins to complete. Once done, the original IP address, hostname and last known state will be reinstated.
