There are two ways to reboot a server hosted with HostiFi, either by logging into the customer portal at app.hostifi.com and pressing the reboot button or via SSH.

Portal Method

As of a recent update to app.hostifi.com, users can now simply and easily reboot servers. When viewing details for a server, this option will appear and allow you to reboot the server, whether it be UniFi, UISP or Omada.

SSH

For SSH, you will need to set up SSH access. See our How to SSH or SFTP into your UniFi server help article for step by step instructions

While logged in via SSH, use this command to reboot your server:

sudo reboot

HostiFi

HostiFi provides hosting for both Ubiquiti and TP-Link software-defined-networking (SDN) applications, with servers for UniFi, UISP and Omada. We also offer professional networking consulting, with HostiFi Pro.

If you run into any issues, send an email to support@hostifi.com or contact us via live chat.
