Learn how to change between the different UniFi interface versions, as some settings in the UniFi Application aren't located in the Legacy User Interface and some are located in the New User Interface.
⚠️ Note: On the UniFi Dream Router (UDR) it is not possible to change between different interface versions.
Changing from the New User Interface to the Legacy User Interface
On the Legacy UniFi interface, log into your HostiFi or any other cloud hosted UniFi Controller.
Then, go to Settings
Next, click on 'System' in the menu bar on the side
Next, scroll down and click on 'Advanced'
Under 'Interface' you can choose between New and Legacy, select Legacy
A warning message will appear warning you about using the Legacy interface, due to reduced features. Click on 'Deactivate'
Next, click on 'User Interface' in the menu bar on the side
Under the 'Display' section, there will be a toggle for 'New User Interface'
Then, turn that toggle on
Scroll down and click the green button 'Apply Changes' to save your settings
The screen will then refresh and you'll be presented with the New User Interface.
Changing from the Legacy User Interface to the New User Interface
On the New UniFi interface, log into your HostiFi or any other cloud hosted UniFi Controller.
Then, go to Settings
Next, click on 'System' in the menu bar on the side
Under the time format settings is the option for enabling 'Legacy Interface'
Enabling the tick box will bring up the following pop up. Click on 'Deactivate' then the page will refresh, you'll then be presented with the older version of the UniFi Application.
