For increased flexibility and better branding, our UniFi plans for 250 UniFi Devices and above, support custom domains. This feature can be easily enabled from the HostiFi dashboard, located at app.hostifi.com.

You can use one or multiple custom domain names for your UniFi server to fully white label your service or make the URL easier to remember.

How to setup the custom domain

Log in to app.hostifi.com and find the host name for your HostiFi server. UniFi servers have the URL format of mxxxxx.hostifi.com.

Create a CNAME record at your DNS provider with your desired custom domain name, and point it to the host name of your HostiFi server.

After the CNAME record has been created, on app.hostifi.com, click on the Domains tab.

Here, you can enter the custom domain name you would like to use. If you are not able to add the domain, the CNAME record you just created may be incorrect, or it may need more time to propagate. Verify the record is correct and try again.

After that domain is added, an SSL certificate will be automatically generated, and the custom domain should be active.
