UniFi Access Points (APs) have a default username and password combination which is used when the device is brand new, or in factory default state. If you are adopting the AP to something like HostiFi and need to SSH in, these are the credentials you would use.

If you want fast and reliable UniFi hosting, check out HostiFi with fast support, regular backups, managed updates and prices from just $9 per month.

What credentials do I use for UniFi APs?

For UniFi APs, the default username and password will be:

Username: ubnt

Password: ubnt

Or it can be:

Username: ui

Password: ui

Once adopted into the UniFi Controller, it'll then take the credentials from the UniFi Controller, which can be found under Settings > System > Advanced > Device Authentication.

HostiFi
