Under Firmware section, click the 'Choose File' button and upload the firmware that was downloaded earlier

Click upload

Troubleshooting

File size too large

If the device comes back with a message saying "File size too large", then you might need to reboot the device, as the older M devices have a limited amount of RAM to store the new file in temporarily.

Legacy Devices

Firmware for the airMAX M devices and older Legacy (non-airMAX) devices are found under two separate menus on the download page.

TFTP

If the firmware update does not complete after multiple attempts, or if the airOS GUI is completely unreachable then it might be necessary to do a TFTP recovery on the device. Follow our TFTP guide here.
